CLASSIC MICRO-NEEDLING

Classic Microneedling $275/session

Micro-needling is the process of making micro-injuries to the skin's surface. This initiates the body's natural healing process while minimizing cellular damage. This causes your skin to remodel the treated areas.

Why is microneedling so effective?

Microneedling causes micro-trauma to the skin. This tells the body to begin the healing process. There are three phases of wound healing which your body goes through after the initial injury occurs. Stimulating this natural process is what makes micro-needling so effective.

Who can be treated?

Microneedling can be used on any skin shade or type, for any skin concern. We recommend micro-needling for patients who do not feel they are ready for injectables like BOTOX®, Jeuveau™, or Fillers as this treatment is highly effective at smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Micro-needling is also the most effective and least damaging skin treatment for erasing scars caused by acne or injury.

What to expect during a microneedling treatment:

Before the treatment, your provider will numb your face with numbing cream. Once the cream has taken effect, it will be removed entirely from the face (don't worry, you'll still be numb). Your provider will then glide the pen over the area being treated in 3 different directions. This process is causing micro-injuries to the skin, so you may experience some discomfort.

What areas can be treated?

Microneedling can be performed on any part of the body. Most commonly, the treatment is performed on the face. However, treatments can be done anywhere from the hairline down to the toes to help tighten skin and remove scars.

What to expect after a microneedling treatment:

After the treatment, your skin will be red. You may even be bleeding in some areas. This is normal and in fact evidence that the treatment was working. You will be given a sample of a healing, hydrating gel. This is the only thing you should put on your face for 24 hours after treatment.

RF MICRO-NEEDLING

RF Microneedling $600/session

Radio frequency micro needling is an amazing new service for skin tightening and rejuvenation. If you're interested in scheduling a RF micro-needling treatment, we asked you first schedule a consultation to learn more about the treatment and the pricing packages available.

Why is RF microneedling so effective?

Radio frequency micro needling uses a combination of the classic micro needling process with the added benefits of bi-polar RF energy. Glow Coast Medical Spa uses the PiXel8-RF by Rohrer Aesthetics for this treatment. The PiXel8-RF uses bi-polar, radio frequency energy alongside minimally invasive micro-needles to facilitate effective, non-surgical, skin tightening with little to no downtime. During the treatment, heat is driven deep within the skin layers to stimulate and remodel collagen and cause elastin cells to regenerate. This results in a firmer, smoother, and more consistent skin surface.

Who can be treated?

The PiXel8-RF was developed to combat the signs of aging and suited for all skin types. After a single treatment, most patients notice that the area treated is smoother and softer. This device uses a unique design for tissue coagulation and hemostasis that may improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and striae.

What to expect during a micro-needling treatment:

Before the treatment, your provider will numb your face with numbing cream. Once the cream has taken effect, it will be removed entirely from the face (don't worry, you'll still be numb). The treatment will take approximately an hour. For optimal results, we recommend receiving at least 3 treatments.

What areas can be treated?

RF Microneedling can be performed on the face, neck, décolletage, or any combination of these three areas.

What to expect after a micro-needling treatment:

Side effects are mild, resulting in minimal downtime after treatment. For some patients, there may be mild pinpoint bleeding and slight bruising. More typically, the skin is mildly red for approximately 24 hours. Most patients can resume their normal routine within a day.
