Injectable Dermal Fillers

Lip Volume

Widely popularized by the Kardashian-Jenner Klan, lip fillers have become the most popular facial augmentation procedure. While most people associate lip fillers with adding extreme volume to the lips, they can actually be used for conservative treatments as well. A single syringe smooths, plumps, and can even any asymmetry in the lips. To get lips like Kylie Jenner, you would need anywhere from 2 to 4 syringes to be injected in your lips over a time period of  8 to 16 weeks.

The “Elevens” refer to the lines and creases between the eyebrows. These wrinkles can give people an angry appearance. These wrinkles are caused by making facial expressions such as frowning, sleeping on your face or on one side of it, and sun damage. This area can be treated with Botox. If not treated soon enough with Botox, the wrinkles that form in this area of the face tend to be deep and stubborn. Sometimes Botox alone will not be enough to smooth the 11's. In those instances, Botox and Fillers in conjunction are you best option for plumping the skin and preventing further wrinkles from forming.

Tear Trough

This is the area right under your eyes. As we age, we lose the fat in our faces. One of the first places people tend to notice this is in the area under their eyes, the tear trough. This is what contributes to large bags and dark circles under people's eyes. Filling your tear troughs will brighten your under eyes and help you look more youthful and refreshed!

Cheek Volume

The cheeks are another extremely popular area clients wish to target with dermal fillers. Our cheeks can flatten over time and appear hollow or shallow due to fat loss and aging. Dermal fillers replace volume in the area and plump up the area

Smile Lines

Laugh lines represent a happy life full of joyful facial expressions. But as you age, these lines deepen, making you look older than you really are. Fillers can be used to help counteract this affect. Dermal filler would be injected along the crease extending from the nose to the sides of the mouth. This will fill in any lines and plump the face. The effects can last anywhere from six months to a full year.

Chin Wrinkles

An area that is growing in popularity among clients at our skin spa is the chin. Over time and with sun damage, the chin muscles can cause the bottom of the face to wrinkle. This leads to what is referred to as an “orange peel” appearance at the bottom of their face. Fillers like Botox can be used to smooth the area and relax the muscles so the wrinkles and creases do not worsen.

Will I look overdone?

The Glow Bar prides itself on conservative measures to keep your face looking you, just more refreshed.

The great thing about fillers is you can see the volume being added during the procedure. We will always begin concervatively and can add more as desired.

How frequently will I need treatments?

Typically, treatments last from 6 months to a year! If after your first appointment desire more volume in any area of treatment, we recommend you wait at least 2-4 weeks in between sessions as to avoid any stretching or damage to the skin.

Will it hurt?

Honestly, yes. But we will provide you with numbing cream and the fillers contain lidocaine. The fact is we are injecting an acid into your skin, so you should expect to experience some discomfort.
